Senate Confirms Kratsios as Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy

Washington – The Senate has confirmed Michael Kratsios to lead the Office of Science and Technology Policy. Kratsios served under the previous Trump Administration and told senators during his confirmation hearing that he would focus on keeping the U.S.’s leadership position in science and innovation.

The Computer & Communications Industry Association has advocated for innovation and a competitive tech industry since 1972.

The following can be attributed to CCIA President & CEO Matt Schruers:

“Kratsios recognizes the urgency of ensuring continued U.S. competitiveness, technological innovation, and maintaining a highly skilled science and technology workforce that powers the private and public sector. We look forward to working with OSTP under his leadership.”
