Marn Joins CCIA as Senior Manager for Federal Affairs

Washington — The Computer & Communications Industry Association is pleased to welcome new senior manager for federal affairs, Michael Marn. Michael previously served as Legislative Assistant to Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., where he worked on technology and telecommunications legislation. Prior to working for Sen. Blackburn, Michael was a policy analyst for the government relations practice at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck.

CCIA has advocated for innovation and policies that encourage competition and growth in the tech sector since 1972.

The following can be attributed to Vice President for Federal Affairs Brian McMillan:

“Federal policymakers are making crucial decisions that impact the economy, online privacy, and competition in technology policy areas like AI. Michael’s experience will be an asset to the team as we advise policymakers on the most appropriate approach to regulation in our industry.”
