CCIA Announces New Hires, Launches New Space and Spectrum Policy Center

Washington — The Computer & Communications Industry Association is pleased to welcome new staffers

Karina Perez will be the Director of the new Space & Spectrum Policy Center, which will advocate for procompetitive spectrum and satellite policy, particularly in support of satellite-delivered broadband internet access. Perez was previously the Director for Unmanned and Emerging Aviation Technologies at the Aerospace Industries Association. In this role, she worked with AIA’s members regarding Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Advanced Air Mobility, and U.S. Spectrum policy.

Megan Stokes is the new State Director for CCIA. Her background includes 16 years advocating on state legislative issues for public unions, trade associations, and government-consulting organizations.

Aneysha Bhat is the new Senior Manager for Federal Affairs at CCIA. Bhat previously served as Deputy Associate Administrator in the Small Business Association’s Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs.

CCIA has advocated for innovation and policies that encourage competition and growth in the tech sector since 1972.
