Washington — The Computer & Communications Industry Association sent a letter to House Judiciary Committee leaders ahead of their hearing on encryption Tuesday. In the letter, CCIA noted that while tech companies often do aid the government in investigations, they should not be forced to weaken digital security in ways that would create opportunities for bad actors.
