Omnichannel Retail and E-Commerce Save Consumers Time and Money, and Reduce Emissions

E-commerce and omni-channel retail options have transformed the way consumers shop, offering significant time and fuel savings, as well as environmental advantages. This paper estimates how much time consumers save through home delivery compared to shopping at brick-and-mortar stores, the dollar value of that saved time, the dollar value of saved fuel, and the value of corresponding emissions reductions.
