Washington – The Computer & Communications Industry Association released a paper on its members’ top G20 digital trade priorities on Monday, ahead of the G20 Trade Ministerial in Milwaukee from September 30, 2026 to October 1, 2026. The paper highlights key issues in priority markets, including the European Union, Australia, South Korea, India, and Indonesia. US digital services exports to the G20 are worth about $666 billion, with current barriers in the G20 implicating at least $300 billion in forgone revenue for US companies.

“As the US Government prepares to engage with the G20 on a range of issues, it should not lose sight of the digital trade barriers that stand in the way of American innovators. USTR and others should continue to press trading partners to treat US companies fairly and remove unreasonable barriers to trade.”
