SaveWirelessChoice.com Coalition Launched

Washington — Today CCIA joined a broad group of public interest groups, wireless carriers, and consumer and trade groups in launching the SaveWirelessChoice.com coalition. SaveWirelessChoice.com is calling for adoption of pro-competitive rules for the 600 MHz incentive auction scheduled for early 2016 to prevent the perpetuation of a spectrum duopoly. The incentive auction will be a once-in-a-generation opportunity for the FCC to ensure a competitive wireless broadband market, and CCIA looks forward to working as part of the coalition for an auction process that would allow smaller providers to acquire valuable low-band spectrum.
