Matt Mandel

Vice President, Federal Affairs

Matt Mandel is the Vice President of Federal Affairs at the Computer & Communications Industry Association (CCIA), where he leads the association’s federal advocacy strategies.

Matt brings over 25 years of congressional and legislative experience to CCIA. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Government Affairs at WISPA – Broadband Without Boundaries. Prior to that, he was the Senior Vice President of Government and Public Affairs at the Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA). In these roles, Matt directed federal and state advocacy efforts.

Earlier in his career, Matt spent a decade on Capitol Hill serving several members of the U.S. House of Representatives, including seven years as Legislative Director to a senior member of the Energy and Commerce Committee.

Matt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland and a Master’s in Political Science from American University. He resides in Potomac, MD, with his wife and two teenage children.
