Brian McMillan

Vice President, Head of U.S. Public Policy

Brian McMillan is the Head of U.S. Public Policy at the Computer & Communications Industry Association. There, he leads the Association’s domestic policy advocacy efforts.

Brian most recently served as Chief Counsel and Legislative Director for a member on the House Judiciary Committee. There, he spearheaded efforts to pass multiple technology bills into law. Prior to that, Brian spent several years as the principal technology advisor for the American Association for Justice, leading that Association’s work on comprehensive privacy, intermediary liability, data security, and antitrust legislation. He has also spent numerous years as a policy staffer in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.

Brian holds a B.S. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law. Brian is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia.
