CCIA, Tech Associations Issue Recommendations On Building The EU Data Economy
Brussels –CCIA, along with 15 other tech association, issued a joint statement on the European Commission’s “Building A European Data Economy” Communication & Consultation on April 26. The statement recognizes the EC’s work and makes further recommendations on how to achieve the goals by ensuring the free flow of data. The letter calls for an EU Regulation banning existing and future data localisation measures which increasingly fragment the EU Single Market.
