CCIA Europe Strengthens Team with Sustainability Hire and Key Promotions

Brussels, BELGIUM – The Computer & Communications Industry Association (CCIA Europe) is delighted to announce the expansion of its Brussels office with the appointment of Leonardo Veneziani as Sustainability Manager, alongside two promotions within the team.

Veneziani will lead CCIA Europe’s advocacy on sustainability issues and their interplay with digital technology. Before joining CCIA Europe in December 2024, Leonardo gained experience working on sustainability and tech topics at various consulting firms. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and EU Institutions from the University of Turin.

CCIA Europe is also proud to announce two key promotions. Mathilde Adjutor has been named European Parliament and Consumer Lead, while Claudia Canelles Quaroni now serves as Privacy and Safety Lead.

Since joining the team in 2021, Adjutor has played a pivotal role in shaping EU policy on online intermediaries and consumer protection – including platform regulation, audiovisual and media, intellectual property, and product safety and liability. Canelles, who joined in 2023, oversees all privacy and safety issues for the Brussels office, and is responsible for content moderation, data protection, advertising, and the online protection of minors.

The following can be attributed to Senior Vice President and Head of CCIA Europe, Daniel Friedlaender:

“We are thrilled to welcome Leonardo to the CCIA Europe team. His expertise will be crucial in advocating for EU policies that combine sustainability with digital innovation. We are equally proud to recognise the achievements of Mathilde and Claudia through their well-deserved promotions, further strengthening our advocacy capabilities in Brussels.”
