CCIA joined several tech groups in a letter to Senators Feinstein and Burr late Tuesday saying their draft encryption access bill is “unworkable” and would do more harm for security than good. The bill from the two Senate Intelligence Committee leaders would require mandatory decryption be built into technological platforms.
