Aodhan Downey

Aodhan Downey is the Western State Policy Manager at the Computer & Communications Industry Association (CCIA) where he represents the Association’s interests in Western U.S. statehouses. He advocates for privacy, competition, content moderation, and emerging technology issues on behalf of CCIA. 

Aodhan has worked as a contract lobbyist and Director of Government Affairs for Carrara Nevada. There, he represented over 50 clients in front of the Nevada Legislature. These clients operated in a diverse range of policy issues; real estate, banking, pharmaceuticals, economic development, and healthcare. 

Aodhan holds a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Sociology, both from the University of Nevada – Reno.
