CCIA seeks two bright, capable law students to serve as clerks in our DC office during Summer 2026. Applications are now being accepted from students who are in their first, second, or third year of law school.

Law Clerks cover a variety of ongoing and emerging internet law and policy issues. Students with interest and/or coursework in AI, online safety, competition, privacy, online speech, trade, telecommunications, and/or intellectual property are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with the federal legislative and administrative processes required. Strong language and writing skills are essential.

Projects will include analysis of draft legislation and rules, legal research and writing, digesting Congressional hearings, and assisting with the generation of regulatory comments.

These positions are paid, full-time, and require a commitment of at least 12 weeks. Both Clerks will be in the Google Public Policy Fellowship Program. CCIA would also work with the school should the student be requesting externship credit(s).

Law Clerks are based in our DC Office, which requires weekly in-person attendance. CCIA is unable to assist with relocation.

Interested students should submit a cover letter, resume, and writing sample via the Google Public Policy Fellowship webpage.

Applications must be submitted by Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 12pm ET.

This announcement will remain posted until the position is filled. Please note that due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unable to contact every applicant personally. Only short-listed applicants will be contacted. CCIA is an equal opportunity employer.
