Tech Industry Advocates Send Incoming European Commission President Joint Letter

The Computer & Communications Industry Association signed a joint letter welcoming European Commission President-elect Jean-Claude Juncker and offering support and assistance on his goal of creating a fully digital Europe and a single digital market. The letter endorses appointing a Digital Commissioner to review policies from an innovation perspective and to ensure EU policies are “forward-looking, future-proof and consistent across the Commission with a well-defined set of goals.“ CCIA plans to send the incoming president a broader manifesto on growing the digital economy next month.
