Mariana Camacho is Competition Manager at the Computer and Communications Industry Association (CCIA) in Washington DC. As part of CCIA’s competition team, she works to achieve global competition and regulatory policy goals on behalf of member companies. Mariana has over six years of professional experience advising national and international companies on antitrust and competition, regulatory, and technology issues.
Prior to joining CCIA in 2022, she worked at Baker McKenzie and a leading boutique antitrust law firm in Colombia, and served as the coordinator of the Colombian Association of Competition Law. Mariana holds a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia) and a one-year Specialization in Competition Law from the same university. In addition, she holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was member of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal and the Center of Privacy Law. Mariana is also certified as an information privacy professional in Europe (CIPP/E).
